Hello,

I’m Sion — a design engineer focused on product design, development, and manufacturing. I’m interested in how ideas move from concept to reality, and the details and decisions that make that transition work.

My experience in Product Development and Engineering spans aerospace, manufacturing, and consumer products, including Rolls-Royce PLC, Commencal Bikes, FYi Design Dept, and Aritzia.

The defining moments of my career began with my formative years at Rolls-Royce, where I learned the importance of clear communication, process excellence, and engineering rigour. I also place a high value on my hands-on experience in factories in Taiwan, where I developed a deeper understanding of manufacturing, production, and supply chains from a practical perspective.

From a design standpoint, I’m proud to have contributed to work that led to an Apple patent (Devices with Detachable Headbands, Patent #12,449,841).

Originally from Wales, I studied Product Design Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. Today, I collaborate with individuals and companies around the world to develop ideas and bring them into production.

I value practical experience, curiosity, and doing things properly — and I’m always interested in working on thoughtful, well-executed projects.
